BAHRAIN

Chair

Bahrain, with a population of around 1.7 million and a GDP of approximately $45 billion in 2023, has a well-developed economy with a focus on finance and services. The per capita income is about $27,000. The country is diversifying its economy away from oil dependence, investing in finance, tourism, and technology.

Opportunities for foreign direct investment (FDI) are strong in these sectors, supported by Bahrain’s business-friendly environment and strategic location in the Gulf region.
