Belarus, with a population of approximately 9.3 million, is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe known for its strong industrial base and agricultural output. The economy is characterized by a mix of state-owned enterprises and private sector initiatives, with key sectors including manufacturing, agriculture, and services. Belarus is a significant producer of machinery, chemicals, and agricultural products such as potatoes and dairy, contributing to its export portfolio with a GDP estimated at around $70 billion and a per capita income of approximately $7,500.

The Belarusian government and business community can engage with the World Business Council to foster innovation, enhance sustainability practices, and explore new international partnerships to strengthen economic resilience and diversification.
