FRANCE

France, with a population of approximately 65 million (2023), is a major player in the global economy and a cultural hub in Europe. The French economy is diverse and multifaceted, encompassing sectors such as services, manufacturing, and agriculture. The service sector, particularly tourism, finance, and technology, is a significant contributor, with France being one of the world’s most visited countries, thanks to its rich history and iconic landmarks. Additionally, France is known for its high-quality agricultural products, including wine, cheese, and gourmet foods, making it one of the leading agricultural producers in the European Union. With a GDP estimated at around $3 trillion and a per capita income of approximately $45,000 (2023), France is one of the largest economies in the world. Its strategic position within the European Union facilitates trade and investment opportunities across the continent and beyond.

The French government and business community can collaborate with the World Business Council to promote sustainable practices, enhance innovation in technology and agriculture, and strengthen international trade relationships for comprehensive economic development.
