Greece, with a population of approximately 10.4 million (2023), is a southeastern European nation known for its rich history, stunning landscapes, and significant contributions to culture and philosophy. The Greek economy is diverse, with key sectors including tourism, shipping, agriculture, and services. Tourism plays a vital role, attracting millions of visitors annually to its historic sites, islands, and beautiful coastlines. Greece is also a major player in global shipping, with one of the largest merchant fleets in the world. With a GDP estimated at around $250 billion and a per capita income of approximately $23,000 (2023), Greece is in a phase of recovery and growth following economic challenges in the past decade.   

The Greek government and business community can collaborate with the World Business Center to promote sustainable tourism practices, enhance innovation in agriculture, and strengthen international trade relationships to foster comprehensive economic development.
