GRENADA

Grenada, an idyllic Caribbean nation with a population of approximately 112,000, is renowned for its rich agricultural heritage and vibrant tourism sector. The economy is primarily anchored in agriculture, particularly the production of spices such as nutmeg and cocoa, alongside tourism, which capitalizes on the island’s stunning beaches and lush landscapes. Key exports include spices, bananas, and fish, contributing to a GDP of around $1.1 billion and a per capita income of approximately $9,600. As Grenada seeks to diversify its economic activities, it is increasingly focusing on sustainable tourism and renewable energy initiatives.

By partnering with the World Business Council, Grenada’s government and business community can unlock new avenues for trade, investment, and collaboration. This engagement will enable Grenada to enhance its international presence, foster economic growth, and promote its unique cultural and natural resources on a global stage. Through WBC, Grenada can play a pivotal role in advancing sustainable practices and strengthening its economic resilience in the international marketplace.
